Thomas Baglivo founded Baglivo Associates in November 2008. With over 28 years of experience in the Mid Atlantic region providing professional architectural design services for clients which manage, maintain, and plan for commercial, industrial, and residential types of buildings. Thomas has been appointed by GSA’s Commissioner of Public Buildings to serve on its National Register of Peer Professionals for the Design Excellence Program for a 2 year term. Thomas Baglivo is currently a registered architectural professional in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Florida, Ohio, and Kentucky with registrations pending in DC.
Karen Dellaporta holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University and is an active professional. With over 18 years of experience, she is fully knowledgeable in all phases of design and construction project implementation including: survey, preliminary planning, design development, initial budget studies and tracking, preparation and presentation of preliminary budgets to financial committees, bid evaluation procedures and comparisons, vetting of contractors, FF&E, and construction administration. Emphasizing on commercial design, she has completed spaces from typical office fit out, manufacturing, medical offices and a culinary institute.
Raquel DeCastro has been working at Baglivo Associates since June 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Philadelphia University. Raquel has been planning workplace solutions and leading corporate projects for both regional and national clients for almost 10 years. Her exceptional character and vibrant personality complement her tremendous ability to balance design and business at a high level. While working closely with commercial developers, real estate investors, brokers and corporate tenants, she brings projects to life by implementing sophisticated and thoughtful design practices. She truly enjoys the process of becoming an asset and liaison to the project team and adds a refined, sophisticated perspective.
Niki Baglivo has been working at Baglivo Associates since February 2013. She graduated from Drexel University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. While at Drexel University, she opted into the “co-op” program which allowed her to work and gain experience before graduation. Niki is continuing to gain extensive knowledge in space planning, finish selection, and construction documentation. Niki is also the in house interior and architectural rendering specialist, and has recently become NCIDQ certified. She brings a fresh, young outlook to the team.
Sarah McDonough joined Baglivo Associates in September 2015. She graduated from Arcadia University in 2012, and was on the Dean's Distinguished Honors List throughout her college career. She was also the recipient of the Ruth C. Grant Distinguished Achievement award in the Fine Arts. Sarah specializes in space planning, finish selections, graphic presentations, and photo-realistic renderings. A lover of learning, Sarah is currently pursuing a second degree in Fine Woodworking. She is a great asset to the BA team!
Samantha Koffler started working at Baglivo Associates in April 2018. She graduated from Drexel University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design and minors in both Art History and Sustainability in the Built Environment. Since then, she has gained professional experience in space planning, photo-realistic rendering, specifying finishes and furniture, and final drawing audits. She enjoys working collaboratively to develop unique designs and create effective solutions.
